The Deputy Director assists the Executive Director and performs a variety of administrative duties related to public services and other supporting departments and functions. The role oversees a large portion of the Library's day-to-day operations, supervising
the leaders of the Adult Services, Collection Development, Security & Safety, Technical Services, Youth Services, and Public Services (Main Library, 18 branches, and Mobile Services) agencies. The role regularly works cross-functionally to cultivate effective
relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, the Board of Trustees, and those outside the organization, such as vendors. </div>

A vital goal will be collaborating with the Facilities Services Director in helping to lead ASCPL in $160 million of necessary capital projects to meet current and future programmatic needs (as outlined in the
