Some questions came up at the last board meeting, and we were wondering what other libraries are doing. Our current pay scale is not initiative based, meaning you get a pay increase at a scheduled time without any kind of evaluation of your work. I’m wondering do other libraries follow a set scale and are your increases dependent on performance as well as employment time. We are wanting to make this transition as smoothly as possible.
