I am hoping for some insight on our digital apps in regard to minors...</div>

We run a branch library on the same property as our local school district, strictly for teachers and students. In the past, teachers have invited us to the classroom to give tutorials on how to put books on hold as well as how to use Hoopla and Libby. Hoopla

 recently updated their policies (one of my coworkers actually read the terms and conditions instead of just clicking the box!) and we found that Hoopla is recommending that their app is for 13 and up. We were previously showing 5<sup>th</sup> and 6<sup>th

</sup> graders (10-12 year olds) how to use the app upon teacher request, as those grades within our district have limited time to visit the library.</div>

We have documents in the schools digital "back to school" packet, letting parents know that their children have access to these apps with their library card and how to be involved if they choose. </div>

My question is, does any other library work with their school in this way, and if so, how do you navigate these types of things? Do you require permission slips? Leave it up to the teacher to communicate to the parents?  Any perspective would be helpful!</div>
