To further add to this, Trend is what I normally see as being
recommended from my Exchange admin mailing list for e-mail antivirus
protection at the server level. I know it's not usually fiscally
feasible, but also recommended normally is using two different vendors'
solutions, such as using Trend for your mail server, but McAfee on the
desktop. The idea is that one suite is likely to catch things that the
other does not.

Karen,

I wouldn't jump ship right away. Is it no longer updating itself
because the licence expired, or because something is broken?

We are using Symantec Enterprise and also Symantec Mail Security on our
exchange server. This product works so very well for us and we have had
nothing but success. =20

If you really want to look at another product, I would suggest the Trend
Micro Suite. They just released a new server based product that not
only does the antivirus, but also has active 0-day alerting and
signature based active spyware removal with full reporting capabilities.
I have heard from some others that this product is a viable replacement
for the Symantec suite.

If you could be more specific why your -current is not updating, maybe I
could offer some suggestions to get to back on your update cycle (that
is unless your licence expired).
