If the wrtg's are version 4 you can use a linux flash called DDw-rt that
makes it a very very powerful router and wireless access point which
includes chilispot. You can basically turn you $50 routers into $600
ones. I've been using it on my home wrtg for months with great success.
See:

At Cuyahoga County Public library here we only allow Port 80 and SSL to
our patrons but do not filter.
We have a page on our wireless at

We use Cisco Aeronet 1200 series access points.

Thanks for all of the quick replies, and useful information.

We purchased a Linksys WRT54Gs Wireless-G Broadband Router, which is a
combined Access Point, Router, and switch. This will allow me to
isolate our internal network, and create a wireless access point very
easily.

My thoughts on filtering and using SSID's are close to the same as
technicians who have already implemented wireless for their libraries.
Keeping the wireless access as easy as possible is the best route.

Thanks everyone.
