Has anyone updated their internet acceptable use policy to include Hot Spot
access? Did you integrate it into your existing policy, or create a new
policy. I'm very eager to see any examples you might be able to share.

This goes to the Board tomorrow it rides in the AUP as a paragraph:

Wireless Internet access is provided for Greene County Library Patrons and
guests. To access the Internet via wireless connection patrons must have a
GCPL Library Card number. Guests may either obtain a library card or request
a temporary library card number. There is no cost for this service. Printing
is not available. Patrons are responsible for providing and configuring
their own wireless equipment.
=20
Please note that we are providing wireless for patrons, they will be asked
to accept our AUP and will be directed to our reference databases page. I'm
not sure that this qualifies us as a hotspot, but then again I'm not sure
why I'm obligated to be a Hotspot.

Has anyone updated their internet acceptable use policy to include Hot Spot
access? Did you integrate it into your existing policy, or create a new
policy. I'm very eager to see any examples you might be able to share.
