Office of Information Technology Customer Update - February 3, 2006

Scheduled Maintenance:

When: Every Tuesday

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM

February 7 - OIT engineers will be performing emergency maintenance
adjusting timers on the new Columbus Core Network. No outage is
expected.

February 7 - OIT engineers will be changing a netflow parameter on a
Columbus Core switch. No outage is expected.

What is Netflow?

Netflow is a tool that allows network engineers to determine traffic
patterns during troubleshooting and network design. This change will
timeout Netflow information quicker so we do not run out of memory to
store this information. There is no impact of running out of netflow
memory to traffic, but the lost of this information can limit our
visibility into the network when troubleshooting. This parameter change
will not have any affect on traffic on the network.

February 7 - OIT engineers will be moving one of our DNS Servers NS4.
No outage is expected.

February 7, 14, 21, 28 - OIT engineers will be migrating customers to
the new Columbus Core Network. These moves will be coordinated with the
customers by their customer engineers.

During the migration to the new Columbus Core Network, customer
engineers are planning to work with each agency on current and future
bandwidth requirements.

February 14 - OIT engineers will be adding a preferred path over the new
Columbus Core Network between our two Internet Gateways: ISPSOC and
ISPRHO. After this change is made, we will be testing Internet
failover on ISPSOC and ISPRHO. If Internet redundancy functions
properly, the failover should be transparent.

February 14 - OIT engineers will be moving the following customers from
the existing ATM core to the new Columbus Core Network. Connectivity
to and from these customers will be interrupted.

Rhodes Tower Customers

Inspector General
Board Of Tax Appeals
