Yes, Cuyahoga County has entered databases in our catalog. For an example, go to sciron.cuyahogalibrary.org and search for sirs discoverer or follow this link: http://sciron/search/Xsirs+discoverer&searchscope=41&SORT=R/Xsirs+discoverer&searchscope=41&SORT=R/1%2C2%2C2%2CB/frameset&FF=Xsirs+discoverer&searchscope=41&SORT=R&2%2C2%2C.

Subject: [OPLINTECH] OPLIN database MARC records

Good afternoon,

Are there any libraries in Ohio that have loaded MARC records for titles from the OPLIN databases into their catalogs?

How did you do it?

Are the patrons using this feature?

What should I be thinking about when planning this?

Are there any catalogs that I can look at?

Did you add an authentication link in the MARC record?

I am just in the planning stages of doing this and I am trying to think of all the issues that I might encounter.

Thanks,

Morgan Paul
