You could have cheap usb keys available that people could copy the doc
to a key and print in on your public workstations. It would save the
cost of adding another printer, workstation, etc etc.

Subject: [OPLINTECH] Public Printing

We are having more and more people come into the library with their own
laptops and are wanting to print to our main public printer. I was just
curious how other libraries are handling this? Right now I am having to
go out and setup the printer on each laptop individually and it is
becoming more and more work. We are not using any kind of print
management at the moment, but are looking to in the future. Is there an
easy way for the patrons to just "search for local printers" and have it
be at the top of the list? Or maybe when they join the wireless network
it would install the drive then?

Thanks

Greg
