[OPLINTECH] Networked Printers

Thanks Jim and Dan,

I mainly threw out the question because I am trying to streamline our
network and I am questioning the need for AD if I could just get by with
something (preferably open source) that serves the same purpose or who
knows, maybe even nothing at all.

But you guys also bring up another good reason for the discussion and that
is as Jim suggests, I seriously need to try to decide how best to manage and
control our printing costs moving forward, so maybe the need for central
management is here to stay.

Any others care to weigh in their experiences?
