Mindy,

If you mean image editing, it isn't as advanced as GIMP but I use Irfanview
for many routine things: http://www.irfanview.com/

If you mean imaging hard drives, in addition to Clonezilla (
http://clonezilla.org/), check out FOG Project: http://www.fogproject.org/ .
It is more than imaging but easy to use on older hardware w/ Ubuntu and has
some nifty features. We used it here for a year or so until we got our KACE
boxes (http://www.kace.com/).
