I was hoping someone might respond to your request. I'm actually in the
process of looking into these myself. While I haven't actually tried any
particular amp yet, the one I'm looking at is the Wilson 801245 SOHO
Dual Band Amp
<http://www.repeaterstore.com/products/repeaterkits/wilson/soho.html>.
It's dual band (which I'm guessing is what you'll probably need),
claiming to work with all cellular networks except Nextel and compatible
with CDMA, TDMA and GSM. Pretty much covers the gamut, from what I
understand. What I like about the unit also, is that I'm free to choose
the antennas and cable lengths to provide maximum flexibility for my
specific needs. Being a basement meeting room scenario for you, I expect
you would probably also need some degree of flexibility to run your
outside and inside antennas.

To get maximum benefit, you might be best served by consulting an
expert, or at least someone who has some knowledge of
antennas/wireless/amps/etc.
