[OPLINTECH] OPLIN Outage on 2013-12-09 18:15-18:45

All,

Monday (12/9) the OPLIN network experienced an internet outage from roughly 18:15 to 18:45. The cause of the outage was a non-service-impacting change to a State of Ohio network device. This change unexpectedly caused the device to hang, cutting off internet access for the entirety of the State of Ohio network. Service was restored via a power cycle of the device.
