[OPLINTECH] Equipment to replace PAC computers

Since the libraries I work with use a web-based catalog, I've just been
re-purposing any old computers into linux-based web kiosk OPACs pointed to
the catalog. It does the job, and it's free. They typically boot via PXE
from the network and I disconnect the local hard/floppy/CD drives, so
turning them on/off is as easy as flipping the switch on the power strip.
No need to go through any "safe" operating system power down sequence.

If you want the patrons to love the "new" computers, just buy a new
keyboard, mouse, and LCD. :-)
