[OPLINTECH] Best All-in-one computers

We have Lenovo all-in-ones-the jury is still out on those since we have had them for a couple of months, but they are not hospital quality to be sure. We have ELO all-in-ones for our touchscreen computers and they seem solid. We are using them mounted on VESA stands to conserve and neaten up the cabling.

Re the Lenovos: a study of customer usage patterns revealed that a Pentium provided more than enough power, so we could go very inexpensive by skipping an entire generation of Intel processors.

IMHO the absolute best one-piece computers come from Cybernetman.
We have about 40 of them as selfchecks or circ terminals.
They are hospital quality and indestructible.
But they are expensive.

My personal computer is a Dell inspiron.
Been pretty happy with it and I have 6 out in the local history room with no issues.

Our library will be looking at upgrading some of our computers to the all-in-one computers and was wondering which manufacture is recommended by fellow Library IT members? We would like to possibly have some touchscreen models and some not.

Many Thanks,
