[OPLINTECH] Windows 10?

We’ve upgraded our staff and public computers to Windows 10 and are having a few issues with only yhr public ones, for example, them not auto-logging in, rebooting randomly, going to the black screen. It’s not constant but random. We also use DeepFreeze and Envisionware. The staff computers are fine so we believe it must be DeepFreeze (since we uninstalled Envisionware and tested and they were fine) although we are using a compatible version. There is nothing in the Event Viewer and no crash dump files. We’ve also tried updating drivers but it’s still ongoing. Of course, in over a two month test everything worked flawlessly on the public computers but not anymore.

Fred,
What kind of problems did you have with Win10 + DF when you tried it on the public computers?

Phil,
We currently have started moving to Windows 10 for the staff computers and everything seems to be working fine. We use Polaris (Innovative) and it works fine as well. As far as the public staff computers go, I use deep freeze on all the public computers and I tried on several computers to upgrade to the Windows 10 installation and it was a mess at least for me. I reverted back to the old operating system. We have the current version of Deep Freeze also on our public computers that is supposed to be compatiable with Windows 10. We also use EnvisionWare on our public computers and that seemed to work fine, but after pondering how much work it would be to fix the computers I have decided to just stay on Windows 7 for now.

Hope that helps,

Has anyone else started using Windows 10? We're using it successfully on a couple of staff computers, and once we install the latest version of Cassie we're going to see if it works with our public PC setup (notably Deepfreze).
