See if you can get it into Recovery Mode and have iTunes reset it:

I know that “Find my iPhone” has been known to stay attached to a device regardless of being reset, so you may need to visit an Apple store for them to do some magic on it.

Riddle me this: Patron gets into one of our iPad Pro devices and links the device to their Apple ID and sets the Find My Mac. I tried the restore with reset process to no avail. How can I disassociate the device with the unknown patron Apple ID?
