[OPLINTECH] Hotspot management

Hi Everybody

We switched from Verizon due to this throttling and have been happy with the move.
Two complaints on the new carrier being inferior to my knowledge.
We refused to pay $5 per month for the management you mention - unused data does not roll over so we saw it as paying more money for less data.
And having them sit on the shelves until the new billing cycle was unacceptable as well.
Mark – I can provide details if you like.
Thanks

Tom

Subject: [OPLINTECH] Hotspot management

Hello everyone!

We are running into an issue where our Verizon MiFi/Hotspots(chosen for best coverage in our area) are being used past the 25GB cap and then throttled down to minimal speeds.

Some suggestions have been that we shelve the hotspots once they are near their high bandwidth, or use management software at a cost of $5 per unit to cap usage to about a GB per day.

Would love some better suggestions!

Thank you,
Mark
