[OPLINTECH] Phone systems

We got rid of all of our standard fax machines. Our printer/copier/scanner
units were configured to send a fax using eFax which we had our fax numbers
ported over to. The faxes come in to a generic staff email that is
automatically logged into on the circ computers when they boot up. The
hardest part has been getting the staff to remember to check it. There is a
unit, at least with Grandstream (our brand of phones), that will convert a
standard phone line to a VOIP line so you can still use your standard fax
machine if that is needed.

Hope that makes sense.
