The cost of the workshop is $334 plus a $25 special fee. Completion of this
workshop will earn you one undergraduate OR graduate credit, depending on how
you register. You do NOT have to be current Kent State students to take
this workshop.<BR><BR>--- For anyone interested in using the WWW for business
research and competitive intelligence, this workshop is ideal. Students will
examine and compare search engines, business information sites, fee-based online
sources, and Web browsers, learning simple and advanced search techniques. In
addition, students will locate and use sites of business information and
discover how to verify and evaluate the relevance and reliability of the
business information located in sources that include Hoovers, SEC filings,
Thomas Register, Dow Jones Interactive, and Nexis.<BR><FONT
