You can also buy an Iomega external CD writer 7 in 1 drives that have a usb
plug in the front for under $60 that will give you card reader functionality

machines to XP from NT.<SPAN> </SPAN>The original E-4600 Gates version of
Gateway chassis was supplied without front panel USB connectors although the
motherboard has a header available.<SPAN> </SPAN>Gateway says they
no longer have replacement connector modules for this series.<SPAN>
</SPAN>Has anyone on the list with Gates machines been faced with this
?<SPAN> </SPAN>We can put in a usb hub and/or card reader into a 5 ½”
drive bay, but would prefer to use the OEM style cable if anyone has identified
