used Wyse thin Clients and then a few off brands for several years at CCPL
until the needed plugins for the various sites got out of
hand. Nowadays most all Thin Clients have a built in
browser. Depending on what the base OS is (windows ce, xpe or Linux) will
determine if it is Internet Explorer or Firefox. (in other words a CE or
XPE client will have Explorer while a linux based one will have
Firefox) If you get an Xpe which stands for XP embedded you can put
additional programs and plug ins on it up to the size of the flash and will
also be able to continue to use deep freeze.

at the Citrix show a few months back and it is pretty nice having XP embedded. (unless
you have an affinity towards linux) I like the XP embedded ones because
it still has the look and feel of windows and you can run notepad etc on it.
They are easily reimaged and reasonably priced.
