<p class=MsoNormal><span class=instituteinfo>The Central Ohio Library
Consortium (CLC)</span> is seeking an energetic professional to administer,
with the guidance of the Directors, the projects of the CLC. This includes all
automation (Horizon system, print management, self-check, debit/ credit,
notification system), network, and online systems. This position
requires someone with superb technical and administrative skills, with an
understanding of budgetary process, the ability to inspire collaborative
efforts and to represent the CLC to interested parties. Salary is $70,000 plus

<b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b> Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
or university in Information Technology or closely related discipline
desirable. Ten years of progressive IT experience in lieu of
degree. Eight years minimum Information Technology experience with
progressively more responsible management assignments, which include
operations, project management, budgetary, contract biding, negotiation and
administrative group process. Experience in information technology
management, system administration and overall familiarity with major operating
systems, system security, network administration, wireless networking, web
technologies, SQL, Intranet, Internet, print management software, ecommerce
applications, and digitization processes. Experience with Microsoft System
Administration and Internet Information Services (IIS); Experience with TCP/IP
and local and wide area networks, application servers, authentication systems,
and client server computing. Knowledge of MARC and metadata standards for
the representation of library information in electronic format. Strong
interpersonal, written, oral, and organizational skills and an ability to work
collegially and effectively in innovating services and facilitating change.
Demonstrated, strong customer service commitment. Public library experience
highly desirable.<br>

<p class=MsoNormal><b>RESPONSIBILITES:</b> Leads the planning and
implementation of technology initiatives to improve the service and
efficiencies of processes for a multi-location operation. Promotes the purposes
of the CLC and seeks new members. Manage the short term and long range focus of
the CLC, which includes: Staff assignment, budgetary planning and member
meetings. Design, implement maintain and repair hardware and software for the
