<p class=MsoNormal>In Session I, Delegating 101, we’ll start with a look
at why delegation is more important than ever for you as a supervisor.
We’ll get a glimpse of what is consuming your time each day – and
how to decide which of those tasks are “delegation-ready.”
We’ll also look at tasks you’ve already delegated to determine if
they’ve been delegated for the right reason – or just to reduce the
slushpile (!). In the process, we’ll take a sneak peak at some of the
reasons we haven’t been delegating – and why we don’t really
want to. Our mission (should we choose to accept it!), will be to step back and
look at what we’ve been doing – what’s been working well in
the realm of delegating and where might we be able to improve?<o:p></o:p></p>

Level, we’ll cover 9 specific aspects of a task we need to look at when
we consider delegating to our staff, details that will not only help us decide

our personalities affect whether or not we are willing to let go of some of our
work, as well as how our employees’ personalities should influence to
whom we assign what task, project, or responsibility. You’ll come away
from this session with a checklist of key points to consider when matching the
right employee to the work you want done, as well as a bird’s eye view of
the details that will ensure your success when delegating.<o:p></o:p></p>
