We have had the GIMP on staff and public stations for many years. The program is easy to use, handles most tasks patrons need to complete, and it's free. We also have Open Office and Firefox for staff and patrons. We consider suggestions, but do not offer support for every single plugin or program available.
Hi all,

We had a patron request that we install GIMP on our public PCs.

I do not know much about it other than:
GIMP is a versatile graphics manipulation package.

Does anyone else have this software on their public computers?
Do you add open source software to them.. on request?

thanks
