<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'; FONT-SIZE: 12pt">I was
wondering if anyone has come across the following problem with Yahoo
mail. In our Public computer center, we are running Windows 7 along with
Internet Explorer 9. We have had a number of patrons comment that when
they are in their Yahoo mail, Yahoo mail will all of a sudden lock up on
them. The only way around this is to kill the IE session and have them
get back into their email. We have suggested trying a different browser
to see if the same thing happens. According to one patron, it happens in
Firefox as well, so it doesn’t appear to be a browser specific problem.
What is frustrating is when we try to troubleshoot this problem, we cannot
duplicate the problem. I have seen it happen on more than one occasion
but when we sit down and try to duplicate the issue, we cannot get it to
fail. This is a random issue and does not happen all the time. I
don’t recall us having any complaints when we were running Windows XP and
older versions of web browsers on our previous computers. We use
mandatory profiles for our Public computer logins (Children’s, Teens and
Adults). So far, this problem has only been reported in the Adult area
so I do not know if it is just tied to the Adult profile. Then again, I
don’t know how often Teens or Children are getting in and using Yahoo
mail. If anyone has any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue,
can you send them our way?<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
