However, this x next to wifi issue has been pretty hit or miss…with one patron all I had to do was reboot that Kindle Fire and it fixed itself, the other it took manually assigning an IP to fix it…like it just wouldn’t connect with DHCP.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I am running ISC DHCP Server…http://www.isc.org/software/dhcp<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>So In the meantime, I am going to set up an updated version of it by an access point with upgraded software and run a few tests here and see if it is a glitch in the ISC software that’s resolved by updating to the newest release that just came out last week, perhaps its an incompatibility with the Access Point?.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I am running an older Linksys Access Point(I have forced it into G only mode), and it has the latest Firmware update available for it dated june 2010.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If anyone has come across this issue and found any type of fix for it.
