If it still alternates, I'd think a driver or some bit of s/w
somewhere.<br>
Might be some special macro that got downloaded.<br>

It the USB K/B works okay I'd lean towards a h/w problem in the
laptop.<br>
<br>
Might be the K/B but probably a chip on the mother board.<br>
<br>
I'm fairly sure the K/B is like an X/Y device.<br>
IE: Power (or ground) goes on the X and back to Y depending on
which key is pressed.<br>
So would be hard to be a K/B problem<br>
