If your photos have grey from the bottom, up you probably are out
of luck.<br>
That usually indicates the file has been chopped in size.<br>
Compare the size, using right click and properties, with other
pictures taken at the same time.<br>
If significantly smaller, the file is bad.<br>

At this point look for a backup or get the thumbnail is the last
resort..<br>
Thumbnails are stored separately in the file.<br>

Downside is thumbnails are very low resolution.<br>

I haven't tried them but a friend did. No luck for him as he had
the grey problem<br>
