<p class="MsoNormal">We recently got a 27” Dell all-in-one to use as an Overdrive Media Station. It runs Windows 8 and Overdrive has some instructions which are now outdated with Windows 8.1 and require you to purchase a software program called Inteset Secure
Lockdown for $25. After some trial and error and I figured out how to accomplish a locked down kiosk station for free, since most libraries are on a limited budget.<o:p></o:p></p>

</span></span><!--[endif]-->The last part is a bit annoying. When trying to logon for the first time in Assigned Access the account freezes. I found the best way to fix this is the boot into the bios and change the boot from UEFI to legacy and unsecure boot. It
then boots up with an error. I go back into the BIOS and change it back and the account works fine, but takes a moment or two to run right the first time. It must have something to do with MS secure boot options.<o:p></o:p></p>
