<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Responsibilities include supporting the Library’s automation, network and telecommunications systems, as well as installing LAN / WAN / WLAN networks; participating in the selection, installation, and support
of server hardware and software; and evaluating, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems. Provides system and PC technical assistance and training to library staff. Develops training and procedural manuals. Prepares and distributes reports.
Work requires the operation of a computer and peripheral equipment. Works evening and weekends as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Demonstrated knowledge and experience with server virtualization, network security and monitoring, telecommunications hardware and software including Cisco routers and switches, DSUs, firewalls and VPN. Knowledge
and experience with PC hardware and software including Linux/RHEVM, Windows Server and Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012, Windows XP/7 operating systems, and Microsoft Office products, including MS Exchange Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy, is required.
A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science) and / or certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTia are required. Possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s license (work involves frequent traveling between ASCPL libraries) or the ability to obtain one
is required. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
