That being said, what log-interpreting software is there to take the
raw log data and convert it into human-readable format? Since I
started using Google Analytics for my web stats, I must admit that I
have no idea what to use or where to get "easy to use" software to
churn through the log files - without having to add layers of
hardware to our setup just to count beans.<br>

Chad's " rogue" library still uses Untangle, running as a virtual
PC, getting a weekly and monthly use reports.<br>
Adam (Rossford Library) use of it convinced me to try it about
January 2013, replacing ZoneCD<br>

Some of it is neat.<br>

FWIW: Network Scanner does seem to be workable , at least for
sampling.<br>

Below is a snapshot for about 2 hours<br>
10.10.10.1 is Untangle, .5, .6 & .177 are our 3 access
points.<br>
10.10.10.184 is the laptop running Network Scanner<br>
Dark host name are still connected, light have disconnected.<br>
The log file is auto generated<br>
