    <p>I bought an MSi gaming  laptop 4/30/2016 with 128GB SSD for the
      OS and 1TB HD for data.</p>
    <p>Within a week it did a full upgrade to the next W10 version</p>
    <p>Some stuff installed:<br>
      Quicken, Garmin stuff, Epson Scanner stuff, Firefox, Opera,
      Chrome, TightVNC, Thunderbird,<br>
      LibreOffice, Outlook, KeePass, VeraCrypt, ESET, FreeFileSync,
      Skype, GoogleEarthPro, Legacy8,<br>
      TaxAct, UltraEdit, VueScan, TapeCalc, all the windows Goodies, all
      the MSi goodies,<br>
      and probably some stuff I forgot<br>
    </p>
    <p>BYW I'm not gaming.<br>
    </p>
    <p>Right now it's 60GB used 65GB free as of today.<br>
      Data is on the 1TB drive.<br>
      It should be good for a few years.</p>
    <p>You could always add a smaller HD for your data, if needed.<br>
      Or use network storage , which solves backup problems.<br>

          I dumped all of the download files from Windows update.  After
          deleting those files, the freep space was between 10-12 GB.</div>

          use anything else.</div>
