    <p>I suspect creeping slowness may be mostly due to windows updates.<br>
      Saw that on previous version W2K PC's in the library.<br>
    </p>
    <p>Failing hard drives might be contributing also.<br>
    </p>
    <p>Happened to be in the library, so did a reboot on an older patron
      W7 PC with DF.<br>
      65 seconds from pressing restart to opening a webpage.</p>
    <p>The W7 PC's have not had windows updates run, except for
      IExplorer.</p>
