I've been having the same issue with our Windows 7 machines for awhile now. Sometime the Windows Update FixIt has worked but not always. I'm finding that it is downloading the updates and installing, it just doesn't seem to move on. I would have figured that Windows would have fixed their update utility by now. So I give the machines a limited amount of time (1 hour tops) and restart. They have always shown that they are updated. <br>

I'm not having the issue on the machines that are updated via a Deep Freeze task. In that case updates are cached and pushed to the machine.<br>
