<div dir="ltr">To Joe's point about longevity and buying quality SSDs:<div><br></div><div>Just like anything, each manufacturer has its consumer and business lines of products. If you dig into the specs for each model/line of SSDs, you'll find variations in features, performance, and projected average MTBF (which speaks towards longevity). In general, expect consumer-grade products to perform less well and fail sooner, often indicated by manufacturer's warranty...a business measure on the likelihood the business will need to spend money on replacements.</div><div><br></div><div>You may/may not have the option/ability to choose components at this level, but it's worth being aware of. This is the reason I still build the computers I use in my libraries. 7 when it is being reset constantly by a Deep Freeze type program and seems to be enough space for Windows 10 as well, though I’ve started getting 120ishGB drives in the last year or two. Within the next couple of months we’ll get SSDs in all staff workstations
as part of a mid-cycle refresh. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
