<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi Alexandria,</div><div><br></div><div>We have Windows 10 installed on patron computers in several of our libraries here in Ohio. We haven't experienced the specific symptoms you've described. However, because we use Deep Freeze, because Microsoft has taken such a haphazard approach to updates on Windows 10, and because the quality of those updates are frequently in the toilet... we prevent the Windows 10 patron computers from getting automatic updates by managing them with WSUS. This way, we can test an update on one or two computers before allowing them to roll out en masse. <p class="MsoNormal">We installed Win10 back in 2016 but for some reason when Windows runs its updates the computer always ends up freezing and unable to correctly run them. We tried reimaging a couple but the issue still persists, has anyone else been having
these type of issue? The libraries’ patron computers are using mandatory profiles and they’re domain-joined. I’m not sure if the issue is how they were originally setup or if it simply the updates.
