<div dir="ltr"><div>I'm not personally familiar with BentoPDF. But if suitable, I wonder if OPLIN would be willing to host BentoPDF (or similar) centrally for everyone. Staff doing "free PDF editor" web searches for their occasional editing needs and randomly hitting unscrupulous "free" PDF tools/websites seems to be a recurring issue for several of the small libraries I work with. Trying to educate certain staff (Directors included) is like playing whack-a-mole. You can self-host it in a docker container. No ads, good basic features, does most of what most people need to do with pdfs. Seems like something we could make available to both staff and patrons. The editing is handled in-browser, so the documents never leave
the workstation.</div>

<p><span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">We’re currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit pdf files and a few of our staff accounts and on two of our public computers. Adobe is “retiring” this product come December. Can someone
give me a suggestion on an alternative app that we can use to edit pdf files? Our current software are perpetual licenses, so they are licenses per device instead of per user. We can work with licensing per user for our staff but I’m trying to find a way
that this will work on public computers.</span></p>
