Regular scan services are self-supported, but the fax requires a staff member to unlock it since we do not have an integrated payment system. We have configured all of our EZ Scan Stations through TBS to use digital faxing, and we have experienced little to no issues with faxing on these systems.</div>

We use E-Gold Fax in conjunction w our copiers. I would say I have had terrible experiences w TBS, and also spoken to other libraries who also have, so I can't recommend using them for anything.</div>

<div>We have never implemented faxing services for our patrons. There was a small-town grocery that offered the service near a few of our locations, so we would guide patrons to those grocery stores for faxing needs. We've heard that the grocery is doing away
with that service, and we get the question frequently enough that we want to figure out if this is a service we should add. </div>

<div>Right now, I'm in the research and budgeting phase. Trying to figure out what options exist and how much we should budget for this sort of project for next year. </div>

<div>I'm aware of online free faxing services. The workflow is far from easy, especially for less tech-savvy individuals. Getting physical paperwork scanned digitally, then uploading it to a website, is still a difficult workflow for many. </div>

<div>I believe some libraries already use this service, and we've reached out to the vendor to get more information. </div>
