From laura at oplin.ohio.gov Tue Apr 23 09:07:58 2024 From: laura at oplin.ohio.gov (Laura Solomon) Date: Tue, 23 Apr 2024 09:07:58 -0400 Subject: [oplinwebkits] IMPORTANT: Please read carefully Message-ID: Over the past month or so, email providers such as Yahoo and Gmail have started enforcing DMARC rules . What this means is that some form emails that were sent by online forms may not have been received by their intended recipients. The good news is that Drupal records form submissions, so the information can still be accessed. * Please read and evaluate the FAQ below for your own situation.* - *What if we only have a contact form and no other forms? *If this is the only form your site has, none of this will apply to your site and you can move on with your day. The regular contact form has always used the site's default sending email address and this shift on the part of the email providers will not affect you. - *We have more than the regular contact form. Should we panic? *Panic is likely unnecessary. Since these rules only recently started being enforced, you won't have to wade through every submission--only the ones from the past month or so are likely candidates for this issue. See further down below for directions on how to access form submissions. - *We bought the Webform module and create** our own forms. Should we panic? *See the bullet point, above. The only difference in this case is a small change you'll need to make creating forms going forward. You'll get a separate email about this. - *So, where can we review past submissions for our forms?* Go to Structure-->Webforms-->Submissions-->Manage. You can sort by "Date created" to see the most recent entries. If you see any that your library hasn't processed because an email was not received (please note that emails *were* sent by the website, but the email providers may not have allowed them to go through!), you can still get all of the information here. - *What if we don't see the Structure-->Webforms option in my administrative navigation menu?* This is a permissions configuration that we'll need to add into your site_admin account. Just send me an email and I'll get it taken care of. Thanks, folks, for reading all the way through. We're still navigating all of the permutations of the DMARC changes. Let me know if you have questions!
