<div dir="ltr"><div>As many of you know, the Webkits service runs on the <span class="gmail-il"><span class="gmail-il">Drupal</span></span> content management system. Webkits currently run on version 10, which will reach end of life (EOL) later this year. </div><div><br></div><div>Beginning next week, OPLIN will upgrade all Webkits to Drupal 11. <b style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">Unlike previous major upgrades, you should notice few, if any, changes after the upgrade is complete.</b> This upgrade is entirely "under the hood" and will not significantly change the administrative interface or functionality. Think of it like work being done on a car's engine; it will not change how the car looks or how you drive it.</div><div><br></div><div>When your library's Webkit update is scheduled, we will ask you to pause adding new content and making changes for a brief time. Sites must be temporarily static; otherwise, changes will be lost. </div><div><ul><li>You will receive a <b>separate</b> email, specific to your library, detailing the upgrade date. </li><li>On that date, we ask that you make <b>no changes</b> until we notify you that your Webkit's upgrade is complete.</li></ul><div>Please feel free to reach out to me directly with questions.
