<div dir="ltr"><div>Hello folks,</div><div><br></div><div>Karen Yablonsky, the director of Sylvester Memorial Wellston Public Library, was kind enough to give me a heads-up about a sales call that she received yesterday and also gave me permission to share it with the Webkits announcement listserv (see below).</div><div><p>AI accessibility scans are much like other automated tools: they cannot reliably judge, for example, whether an image description is meaningful, or if someone can actually complete a task using a keyboard or screen reader.</p><p><b>"<span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:"Noto Sans","Trebuchet MS","Helvetica Neue",Arial,sans-serif;background-color:rgb(250,250,252)">Tools cannot check all accessibility aspects automatically.
