<p class="MsoNormal">Please keep the following key points in mind:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Checkout Account:</b> All materials borrowed for display must be checked out to your library's specific XXXDISPLAY account (where XXX is your library's code).<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Loan Period:</b> The loan period for these display items is 28 days.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>No Auto-Renewal:</b> Items checked out on the DISPLAY account are
<i>not</i> eligible for auto-renewal. Due dates should not be extended past 28 days.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Monitoring Due Dates:</b> Please actively monitor the items checked out on your DISPLAY account. While the Director's email is set up to receive overdue notices and SEO sends monthly listserv reminders,
proactive monitoring ensures timely returns to the owning library.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><b>Mindful Borrowing - Especially for Summer:</b> With summer reading approaching, please be particularly considerate when requesting materials.
<u>Avoid requesting items for 'seasonal' themes (like summer reading) or 'hot program topics.'</u> The owning library is likely to need those same popular materials for their
<i>own</i> displays and programs during this peak time. Collaborative mindfulness helps everyone!<o:p></o:p></li></ol>
