<p class="MsoNormal">We’re making improvements to how we manage email addresses that have bounced or been marked as undeliverable.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Starting in January, our system will automatically update patron accounts when an email address is reported as invalid weekly on Tuesdays. This includes:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Removing the problematic email address from the account<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Updating notification preferences to ensure continued communication<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Adding a note to the account with details about the change<o:p></o:p></li></ul>

<p class="MsoNormal">We’re also working on knowledge base articles to guide library staff on how to handle different types of email bounce reasons.<o:p></o:p></p>
