<a href="https://libraryleadershipohio.org/">Library Leadership Ohio</a> (LLO). The series is open to Ohio library staff of all types and from all levels to grow their knowledge on a topic and explore how they can make change within their organization and the

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">John Chrastka is co-founder and executive director of
<a href="https://www.everylibrary.org/" target="_blank">EveryLibrary</a>, the only national political action committee for libraries, and the
<a href="https://www.everylibraryinstitute.org/" target="_blank">EveryLibrary Institute</a>, a public policy and tax policy think tank for libraries. Since 2012, EveryLibrary has supported public libraries in numerous funding negotiations and election days,
 winning over $1.8 billion dollars in stable tax money for libraries.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Alison Macrina is an activist librarian and the director of
<a href="https://libraryfreedom.org/" target="_blank">Library Freedom Project</a>. Alison started LFP in 2015 to build community with other librarians who are dedicated to library values of privacy, intellectual freedom, social responsibility, and the public
 good. She works from a justice orientation, rooted in a materialist analysis that emphasizes people’s real-life conditions, recognizing the systems responsible for oppression and their inherent contradictions. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Through their different but related passions, John and Alison have had the opportunity to present together on many occasions.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">
 They will discuss common material and program challenges, as well as respond to attendee questions on issues of advocacy, privacy and intellectual freedom. After a short break, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues during small group
 discussions, led by volunteer facilitators, and discuss how to apply what they’ve learned to provide better library services for their communities. A recording of the presentation and Q&A portions of the event will be made available to all registrants, even
