State Library of Ohio welcomes <a href="mailto:hmiller@libary.ohio.gov">Heather Miller</a> as Library Relations Manager for the State Library of Ohio Serving Every Ohioan (SEO) Service Center in Caldwell, Ohio. In this role, Heather will focus on fostering
strong library relationships, keeping customers informed about available services and training opportunities, and ensuring members of the SEO consortium make full use of the provided services to benefit their communities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Heather brings ten years of library experience, including her most recent position as Executive Director of Ashland Public Library, where she supervised 26 employees.
Prior to that, Heather served as Support Services Manager. Heather contributed her expertise as a member of the SEO Advisory Committee for three years and served as the chair of the SEO Cataloging Committee.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Her background as a director within the consortium uniquely equips Heather to assist existing and new directors of libraries in navigating services offered, as well
as real-world insights into challenges they may encounter. Before pursuing a career in libraries, she worked seven years in science and pharmacology related positions. Heather holds a Master of Science degree in Integrative Pharmacology & Toxicology from Michigan
State University and a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degrees in Forestry from Michigan Technological University.
