[SEO-Updates] Symphony WorkFlows Indexing Issues - UPDATE 2/29 #2

Good Afternoon SEO Members,

Regrettably, we are still encountering indexing errors today, despite our efforts.  We've received numerous reports detailing issues such as "heading keys not found," "heading keys need to be indexed first," and "Internal program error," as indicated below:

SirsiDynix has deployed a dedicated team to address these issues starting around 7:30 AM.  While we had hoped for resolution this morning, the challenges persist. Rest assured, we will provide updates as soon as they become available from SirsiDynix.

I'm pleased to report that the rebuild text database process was successful last night, resolving the majority of indexing issues. Currently, we're indexing the remaining heading keys, and once completed, we anticipate the remaining errors will be resolved.

Library staff members can continue their tasks as usual, including cataloging.

Greetings,

We have received several reports of searching issues, placing holds, records being locked and heading keys need to be indexed.

SirsiDynix is currently running a repair index/heading process on our server that should bring items back up in searches and allow for holds.  We are discussing an action plan for this evening to rebuild the index, which should resolve all of these issues we are seeing today.

Thanks again to everyone calling, emailing, and creating tickets with examples and letting us know what is and what is NOT working.  We really appreciate it.

We would like to inform you that due to an extended runtime of our main indexing report, the scheduled "rebuild item" report could not be executed today, February 28th.  Consequently, the accuracy of the Item Group Editor (IGE) result will be affected.
