Letters were mentioned at the end of the last meeting, but I think your team was off the phone by then. I don't think it is critical to get a letter from every institution that is participating in planning but it would be nice. I will check with Missy on that. I am also working on a draft letter that people can use as a template and will get it out to everyone today.

I don't have the meeting notes handy, but I know we spent most of the time sketching out the grant, and the grant application should of course include letters of interest/support from any organization interested in being included in the DPLA.

Since that meeting, there hasn't been a whole lot going on in "public," we've been trying to put the funding together, and in the process have let communication slide.

I ~think~ we now have a pretty good handle on the funding, and so Angela's email opens work on other areas of the grant.
