[DPLAsteering] Make sure your institution is represented

Steering Committee members,
This is just a quick reminder to make sure that you institution has completed the DPLA planning survey. So far, we have had 193 responses from institutions across the state. We hope to share some very preliminary trends during our Oct. 23rd call.

The survey deadline is tomorrow (Oct. 16th). Information on the survey is below. If you can't complete it by tomorrow, please let me know and we will work with you.

Subject: Reminder:  Ohio DPLA Survey
Good morning,

Approximately two weeks ago you received a survey regarding digital initiatives at your institution.  This survey was sent on behalf of the Ohio Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) Steering Committee, representing leading cultural heritage institutions from across the state.  Completion of the survey is extremely important as we work to identify interest in participation in the Ohio DPLA initiative and the needs of potential contributors.

If you or your staff have already completed the survey, thank you.   If your institution has yet to complete the survey, we need to hear from you as we move the planning effort forward.  It should take 15-20 minutes to complete the survey. If necessary, please work with others in your organization to complete the survey.

The deadline for completion is October 16, 2015.  This survey must be completed online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XYGL6P5. Please be certain to consult your digital expert to gather the most accurate information.
