My takeaway charge at Thursday’s meeting was to email DPLA regarding the private meetings at DPLAFest and if there was an opportunity/session for those in the application stage.  Apparently not – see Emily’s response below.

Good Morning.  Your email below was forwarded to me.  For future reference if you have questions that are hub related that aren't explicitly about data (those would go to Gretchen), you can feel free to email me directly.

Regarding hub private meetings at DPLAfest, these meetings are for hubs that already have data live in DPLA or who are very close in the pipeline to being live.

Unfortunately we do not have the time to hold formal meetings with groups of people at DPLAfest because of the already packed schedule.  We have had numerous requests for meetings and simply can't accommodate them.  We would, however, be happy to arrange a phone call for after DPLAfest to discuss any questions you may have about the application process.  I'd also be happy to take questions via email at any point.

Good Morning:

Ohio is currently developing an application for becoming a DPLA Service Hub.  Several of our Executive Team and Steering Committee will be attending DPLAFest next week.  We have seen very little regarding the private meetings scheduled for April 13, aside from the Hackathon.  Is there any opportunity for the seven of us to meet with folks from DPLA in a private session the afternoon of April 13 to discuss our application?
